|In this 6-week Immersion, you will learn the inner-workings of your body and brain on yoga and meditation. This course blends Eastern + Western perspectives for a fresh approach with practical application.
–Pranayama-structured breathwork. Learn when to use particular breath techniques. Learn why and how pranayama works, its effect on the brain and nervous system, and open to the spiritual experience of breath.
–Lecture and discussion: ancient yogic mythology and philosophy is woven through the practices and delivered through story, ancient and modern scientific texts, exploratory exercises, journaling, contemplation, visualization and Wisdom Circle discussion.
–Meditation: receive an initiation into a regular meditation practice. Learn practical and accessible techniques. Learn why and how meditation works. Receive group support on your personal journey into the vast realm of mediation and your inner world. Guided meditation, discussion and exploration.
–Chanting: learn to employ chanting as a collective form of shifting energy, devotion, calling in the Divine, and raising the vibration.
